Charlotte is a Senior Researcher at the Chr. Michelsen Institute in Bergen and co-director of the Development Learning Lab. She is also affiliated with FAIR at the Norwegian School of Economics. She specializes in development, household, and family economics, with a focus on intra-household resource allocation, women's empowerment, child development, and violence within families. Her recent work studies intimate partner violence, violence against children, marital conflict, reproductive and sexual health, and investments in children.
