Claudio Mora-García

Claudio Mora-García is research economist at the Research Department of the Central Bank of Costa Rica. He is also lecturer for the Economic Department at the University of Costa Rica and commissioner for the national competition authority (Coprocom). His research interests are health economics and economic development, with a particular emphasis on Latin America. His research agenda includes topics on primary care, healthcare labor markets, and infectious diseases. Claudio holds a PhD in Economics from PUC Chile. He has also been consultant for the Center for Global Development, Gates Ventures, and Interamerican Bank.
