Diego A. Vera-Cossio

Diego A. Vera-Cossio is an economist at the Research Department of the Inter-American Development Bank in DC since 2018. His research studies how frictions in financial and labor markets interact with economic networks and institutions in developing countries. In particular, he studies how these interactions affect the efficiency of anti-poverty programs, offset market failures, and lead to unintended effects of policy efforts to alleviate poverty.
