Esther Mirjam Girsberger is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney and a research fellow at IZA. Her research interests include labour, development and family economics. Esther Mirjam’s current work focuses on labour markets in West Africa and investigates how young individuals make decisions about education, job search, work and migration. She holds a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute.
