Exaud Joel

Mr Exaud Joel Pallangyo is an Assistant Lecturer in the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), Tanzania. Prior to joining UDSM, he worked at the Aga Khan Foundation (Mtwara, Tanzania) and Stella Maris Mtwara University College.
Exaud holds a Master in Economics from the University of Dar es Salaam. Additionally, he is pursuing a PhD in Economics at the University of Dar es Salaam. He is interested in microeconomics, agricultural economics, environmental economics, food security, monitoring and evaluation, value chain analysis, and applied econometric.
Exaud aspires to pursue a career in agricultural economics and work on projects that seek to identify policies for improving African farming systems and the livelihoods of farmers through efficient agricultural technologies. When he is not busy, he enjoys playing with data visualisation to assist data driven decision-making.
