Geetika Nagpal is a Research Economist in the Development Impact group at the World Bank. Her research is at the intersection of urban and development economics, focusing on housing markets and transportation infrastructure. Her work combines new sources of granular data with natural experiments to understand how private actors respond to government regulations and shape cities. She received her PhD in Economics from Brown University and holds an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford.
