Nader Habibi
Henry J. Leir Professor of Practice in the Economics of the Middle East, Brandeis University
Nader Habibi is the Henry J. Leir Professor of Practice in the Economics of the Middle East at Brandeis University’s Crown Center for Middle East Studies. His research focuses on Middle East–China economic relations, labor market challenges, and Turkey’s economic ties with Iran and Arab countries. Before joining Brandeis in 2007, he was managing director of economic forecasting for the MENA region at Global Insight Ltd. Habibi holds a PhD in Economics and an MA in Systems Engineering from Michigan State University.
