Florian Sichart
PhD candidate, Department of Politics, Princeton University
Florian Sichart is a Ph.D. Candidate in Comparative Politics in the Department of Politics at Princeton University. His research examines how information environments and spatial context shape political behavior, governance, and representation in modern democracies. A central focus of his work is political misinformation: how false or misleading information spreads, how citizens process and resist it, and how institutional and educational interventions—such as media literacy programs—can mitigate its effects. In parallel, he studies how geographic inequalities, mobility, and local political contexts condition democratic participation and political conflict. He holds degrees from Princeton University and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
