Simon Lepot

Numerical Research Engineer, University of Zurich

Simon Lepot is a Numerical Research Engineer at the University of Zurich, where he develops quantitative structural models on carbon pricing, trade, and innovation. He holds a Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics from Université Paris-Saclay and an M.S. in Physics from the École normale supérieure (Paris). Before moving into economics research, he worked as a Research Fellow at CEA Saclay on experimental and computational fluid dynamics. His current work focuses on calibration and numerical simulation of economic models addressing sustainability and climate policy.
