Russell Morton

Russell Morton is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Rochester (Simon Business School). His research sits at the intersection of development economics and empirical industrial organization, with a focus on how market structure and the organization of production shape how firms and markets create and distribute economic gains. Russell has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University. Before joining Rochester, Russell was a postdoctoral associate at the Yale Economic Growth Center.
