Silvia Castro

Ph.D. candidate in Economics, LMU Munich

Silvia Castro is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at LMU Munich. She is an applied economist interested in Organizational Economics and Development Economics. Her research uses field experiments in firms to study the role of speaking up in different contexts. Specifically, she is working on exploring how speaking up can tackle stigma or promote psychological safety within organizations and social groups. She is also the coordinator of the Predictive People Analytics team at LMU Munich, a Joachim Herz Fellow, and a mentor at the Academy of the United Nations.
