Sugat Chaturvedi is an Assistant Professor at the School of Public Policy, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. His research is at the intersection of labor economics, political economy, and innovation, focusing on topical social and economic issues, including women's labour force participation in South Asia, the impact of emerging technologies on jobs, and the policy impacts of political representation of women and minorities. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Ahmedabad University, as a Research Fellow in the Science Policy Research Unit, University of Sussex, and as a Visiting Faculty in the Department of Economics at Ashoka University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute Delhi.
