Yuri Barreto is a postdoctoral researcher in the CLEAN unit at Bocconi University and research fellow at the Group of Evaluation of Public and Economic Policies (GAPPE) and a Research Fellow at the Group for the Evaluation of Public and Economic Policies (GAPPE). He earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the Federal University of Pernambuco. His research focuses on development economics, particularly in its relationship with labour, environment and political economy. Previously, he worked as a consultant with the Development Impact (DIME) group at the World Bank and has collaborated with the International Labour Organization and the International Fund for Agricultural Development.
