Zara Durrani
Senior Consultant, Oxford Policy Management
Zara Durrani is a Senior Consultant in the Education team at Oxford Policy Management (OPM) and leads the hub on Inclusive Education. She has over eight years’ experience specialising in design, management and policy analysis for social development projects, particularly using qualitative and mixed-methods. Zara has worked extensively in West Africa, South- and East-Asia. Her interests include girls’ education, quality and inclusive education, and public finance for development. She has worked out of OPM’s Pakistan and U.K. offices (presently based in the U.K. Zara has previously worked with the Ministry of Finance Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Pakistan) to advance the provincial development agenda. She has also served as programme officer in the Sarhad Rural Support Programme, which uses a grassroots mobilisation and empowerment model for the economic advancement of communities in north-western Pakistan. Zara is an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge.
