Kim Fe Cramer

Kim Fe Cramer is an Assistant Professor at LSE Finance. She obtained her Ph.D. from Columbia University. As an empirical researcher in household finance, she explores how financial systems in developing countries can be leveraged to help households address pressing challenges around poverty, health, and climate. Her research also extends to corporate finance and financial intermediation, with recent work examining the optimal design of health insurance, the allocation of corporate social responsibility spending, and the rise of shadow banks with its implications for households. Kim is a Research Affiliate at the CEPR Banking and Corporate Finance Programme.
