Hanna Fuhrmann-Riebel is a behavioural economist and researcher at the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS). Her work lies at the intersection of behavioural, environmental, and development economics, with a focus on the effective design and societal acceptance of climate and sustainability policies. She primarily uses field and online experiments to generate rigorous, policy-relevant evidence on behavioural responses to policy interventions, especially international and development contexts. She studied Economics at the University of Münster (BSc), the Complutense University of Madrid, the University of Cologne (MSc), and KU Leuven, and holds a PhD from the School of Global Development at the University of East Anglia.
