Dr. Pablo Robles is a Principal at The Brattle Group, an economic consulting firm. He is an economist who develops and applies statistical and econometric models to calculate damages and assess liability in consumer protection, competition, and market manipulation cases. He has extensive experience with market and survey data across industries such as motor vehicles, consumer goods, commodities, and technology. His work has been recognized by the American Antitrust Institute. He has provided expert testimony in consumer class actions and a has submitted an expert report in tariff classification case before the U.S. Court of International Trade. Dr. Robles holds a PhD from The University of Chicago, where he focused his research on the competitive effects of trade policy. He previously served as a Research Assistant to the chief economist at Mexico’s Ministry of Finance, where he conducted research on numerous topics, including banking, education, financial markets, fiscal sustainability, and poverty.
