Taryn Dinkelman

Taryn Dinkelman is an Associate Professor in the Economics Department at the University of Notre Dame, a Faculty Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a Research Affiliate at the CEPR and BREAD. She works on labour markets in developing countries, highlighting the direct and indirect constraints that limit individuals and communities in developing countries from earning higher returns on labor. Taryn completed undergraduate work at Rhodes University and the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, and received a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan in 2008. Her research is published in leading journals such as the American Economic Review, the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, the Economic Journal, the Review of Economics and Statistics, and the Journal of Development Economics.
